8.2016 Due to a generous grant from the Gordon G. Everett Fund of the Otsego County Community Foundation, OCS will be adding more instructional technology for the 2016-17 school year. This grant will enhance the technology in our kindergarten and preschool levels by providing more access to iPad mini devices, as well as projection devices (from computer to screen). The foundation also helped to provide SmartBoard technology in our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classrooms (a feature currently unique to OCS).
We are excited to see the difference this will make for next year's kindergarteners and preschoolers.
Otsego Christian School receives grant for SmartBoard technology
8.2015 Due to the generosity of the Otsego County Community Foundation's Community Grant Program, OCS has been awarded the necessary funds to purchase an additional SmartBoard system for our school. When added to the existing SmartBoard in our 1st grade classroom, this will give our 2nd and 3rd graders access to the same technology that helped them through the current school year.
SmartBoard technology is a great way to individualized instruction and bring it alive for students. It is interactive, multimedia, and highly customizable. This will make OCS the only school in the Gaylord area with this technology available for all of our students in grades 1 - 3. THANK YOU to the foundation and the following organizations for providing the funds to make this a reality for OCS:
